SSL-VBG50 7.4V/5000mAh Lithium Ion Battery for Panasonic (secure type)

IDX has partnered with Panasonic Broadcast in manufacturing a high capacity Li-ion battery, designed specifically for use with the AG-HMC151, AG-HMC41, AG-HMC71 and AG-AF101 professional camcorders.

The SSL-VBG50 is a high capacity 7.4V, 5000mAh, 37Wh Li-ion battery that employs secured communication technology to enable the camera to recognise the battery as an authorised power source. Advanced features on the SSL-VBG50 include an integrated 3 LED power indicator, as well as standard IDX safety features such as over-charge, over-discharge and over-load protection.

Typical run-times or the SSL-VBG50 battery with the AG-HMC151 is 3.8 hours @ 9.8W and for the AG-HMC71, 4.3 hours @ 8.5W. Battery circuit protection ensures the SSL-VBG50 is fully protected against common causes of battery misuse, guarding against over charge, over discharge and over load incidences.

The SSL-VBG50 can be quickly and safely recharged using the compact 2-channel LC-VWP simultaneous charger.

The SSL-VBG50 Li-ion battery should only be used with recommended Panasonic or IDX chargers. Please refer to the charger manual for specification and charging procedure.
