The PAG V-Mount Power Plate is a dual battery mount for PAG V-Mount L95, L95e or ZL-50 batteries.

It is available with a choice of connectors, suitable for cameras fitted with the three most popular mounting systems: PAGlok, V-Mount and Anton-Bauer.

The Power Plate enables the batteries to be used in parallel, providing combined capacity and a higher current draw capability. Using two Li-Ion batteries to share the load ensures that you do not discharge the battery at an excessive rate.

Using the combined capacities of two L95s is preferable to using one battery with a capacity greater than 95Wh, because any number of L95s is permitted on-board an aircraft, whereas batteries with larger capacities are restricted to two.

The weight of the Power Plate and two L95s combined is similar to a Ni-Cd SuperPack battery, but will provide 190 watt-hours, almost three times the power. This is enough capacity to power most camera and lighting set-ups for a day. The combined weight is also an ideal counterbalance for the weight of the lens.

The Power Plate incorporates a PAG Power Circle charge-status indicator that relates to the batteries connected.
