Panasonic’s AJ-PCD35 Memory Card Drive is a P2 drive with a PCI Express interface. It connects to a Windows PC or Mac with the supplied board, and transfers data at a speedy 1.0 Gbps or higher*. The AJ-PCD35 takes full advantage of the P2 card’s high-speed read/write performance, and dramatically speeds up workflow, particularly for HD production. Five P2 card slots let you mount up to five cards simultaneously.
The AJ-PCD35 can be built into a 5-inch bay of a PC or used externally, and boasts exceptional reliability because it has no transport mechanism and uses solid-state memory cards.
*The actual transfer rate varies depending on the file being transferred, the system, the applicaton software, the P2 card version and other conditions. When a 4-GB or 8-GB P2 card is used, the maximum transfer rate is limited to about 800 Mbps.
