The Easy Steady Lite & Go FREE, is the top end body stabilisation system for broadcast cameras and DSLRs of up to 8.5kg in weight. It comprises of a Lightweight Vest, Upgraded Stabilisation Arm, Sled FREE, C-stand, Docking plate, Regulation Key Set D-Bracket, Tripod Adaptor, Monitor Hood and a Transport Flight Case.

Each individual component is engineered, machined and assembled in Italy to extremely precise standards. Easy Steady’s innovation has enabled them to provide production companies and independent camera operators with an affordable and professional stabilisation solution of the highest quality. There are three versatile systems as part of the Lite & Go range from which to choose; the ONE, TOO and FREE. Each system is designed to provide superb balance, stability and complete fluidity of movement for cameras ranging from up to 4.5Kg and 8.5Kg in weight.

Body Vest
The Lite & Go kits come equipped with a lightweight body vest as standard. This is made from Cordura fabric to increase durability and comfort and is intelligently designed to distribute weight evenly throughout the operator’s lower body and waist. Because of this, the vest shoulder straps can be released to ease tension while the system remains fully operational. The vest utilises a robust buckle system for easy tightening and quick release and is available in a range of sizes to suit every individual’s needs. The aluminium chest plate, when connecting the arm to the vest, can be configured to a right or left handed position depending on the preference of the operator.

Stabilisation Arm
The stabilisation arm is beautifully constructed from aluminium alloy and is standard across all three kits, using heavy or light tension springs depending on the weight of the camera in use on the system. The Lite & Go FREE kit is supplied with a heavy spring set to increase the capacity range to 8.5Kg of camera weight. The spring sets can be changed quickly and easily by the operator, while more precise tension adjustments can be made on location using an Allen key set which is provided with each kit.

Sled FREE
The Lite & Go sled boasts a telescopic centre post that extends between 650mm and 1350mm, allowing the sled to be used in high or low position shooting applications. The super fluid gimbal has no friction whatsoever to allow smooth and stable rotation in any direction. A 7” LCD monitor is supplied as standard on all three kits, with a double V-Mount battery plate for sled FREE. With V-Mount batteries connected, power can be provided to cameras with a suitable input terminal or third party video monitors. The monitor and battery mounts are adjustable to fine tune balance. Each Lite & Go sled carries a universal plate for camera attachment and is HD-SDI video compatible.

Flight Case
The Lite & Go Kit FREE is delivered in a rugged transport case including wheels, together with a C-Stand to allow stable docking and balancing of the sled when loaded with camera and accessories. Easy Steady is supported by a dedicated line of accessories including a tripod adaptor for fast camera mount-dismount to tripod, D-Bracket for extreme low mode shooting, carbon fibre low mode cage, precision balancing donut weights and camera plates with 15mm rods for attaching third party accessories.

Vest

Sled FREE

• Stylish and lightweight sled provides excellent control, feel and balance.
• Super fluid gimbal with no friction allows smooth rotation and complete freedom of movement in any direction.
• Telescopic centre post extends between 650mm and 1350mm for high mode and low mode shooting applications.
• Double V-Mount plate for battery attachment. With V-Mount batteries connected, power can be provided to cameras with a suitable input terminal or third party monitors. All Lite & Go sleds will supply power up to 10A at 14.4V.
• Power and HD-SDI video connections include; 1 x 4-pin XLR power in, 2 x BNC video, 2 x power out, 4 x 4-pin XLR power out.
• Standard Definition 7” LCD monitor with integrated spirit bubble as balancing guide. Adjustable flip and reverse. for low mode shooting, 16:9 and 4:3 display format with integrated audio speaker, supplied with monitor breakout power cable.
• Monitor and battery plates fully adjustable for fine tuning balance, carried out with regulation Allen keys provided in each kit.
• Universal plate head for camera attachment, provides maximum stability to eliminate camera vibration on the sled.

Docking Plate

• Provides secure facility for balancing the Lite & Go sled on the C-Stand.
• Convenient storage compartment for regulation Allen keys.

C-Stand

• Stable tripod stand for securing and balancing the Lite & Go sled.
• Height adjustable with security pin.

Transport Flight Case

• Rugged, shock resistant exterior casing.
• Includes pull out handle and wheels for easy transportation.

Regulation Key Set

• Every major adjustable feature on the Lite & Go system can only be carried out using the regulation Allen key set. This is to prevent accidental detachment or movement of the major elements once balance has been refined and the system is in operation.

D-Bracket

• Innovative bracket inverts the camera and sled for extreme low to ground shooting.
• Supplied with a choice of three pin lengths (160mm, 230mm, 360mm) depending on how low the operator requires the camera.

Tripod Adaptor

• Fast and secure sled to tripod adaptor, allowing the operator to move the camera from sled to tripod without time consuming detachment or unfastening screws.
• Compatible with virtually all tripods on the market with 1/4” or 3/8” screw connection.
• Ideal time saving device when both tripod and Easy Steady camera stabilisation are used on the same production.
