Medi-Key™ helps to prevent the spread of infection with its innovative design, easy cleaning and the use of a silver based inorganic anti-microbial agent which reduces the spread of infection from cross-contamination.

Easily cleanable
The smooth contours of the low height keys make it easy to clean in seconds, without removal from the comupter and without immersion. The Medi-Key™ is also sealed to IP65 allowing it to be used in wash down areas and for deep cleaning.

Ergonomic design
The keyboard and touchpad are both intuitive and easy to use, offering the very best user experience based on our research with clinicians and healthcare providers. The inbuilt trackpad is a convenient and familiar interface, easy to use and clean with no grooves or dirt traps.

Wireless option with docking system
The Medi-Key™ can be used either wired (USB) or as a wireless device using its integrated wireless capabilities. With its internal lithium polymer battery, it will have a minimum operating time of 6 hours fully charged and will be re-charged automatically via the USB port on the terminal.

As the keyboard uses radio frequency signals, it is not susceptible to line of sight issues associated with infrared keyboards and has a manual binding feature that locks in the keyboards signal providing security and the ability to operate multiple wireless keyboards within a multi-terminal environment without interference with other wireless devices.

Back illumination
Medi-Key™’s inbuilt key illumination offers exceptional usability in low light, darkness and during photosensitive applications or procedures. The level of illumination can be easily adjusted by the user holding the function and arrow keys.

Approved Sterilisation Methods

All hospital approved disinfectants: Effective for removing germs and bacteria
10% bleach solution: Effective for removing blood and other contaminates
70% ethanol solution: Effective for removing E. coli and other contaminates

Allow all disinfectants solutions to stand for 10 minutes before wiping down.
Massage solution across keyboard - keys compress flat. Soap and water are not sufficient to remove bacteria.
