The new EDIUS® Neo 3 from Drass Valley, is based on EDIUS® 6 NLE software and has superfast native AVCHD editing capabilities, 3D digital effects, an audio mixer and can even input direct from DSLR cameras. EDIUS Neo 3 requires no transcoding, even when different compression formats and image resolutions are mixed on the timeline and will work with a wide variety of video formats up to 1080p50/60 resolution.

Thomson has just released a new version of their AVCHD2HQ software with some great new features and performance boosts.

AVC2HQ software converts high quality AVCHD footage into easy to edit formats like Canopus HQ and now MPEG2.

If you have EDIUS or EDIUS Neo / 2 on your computer you can download and use AVCHD2HQ free of charge. An exciting new feature is the ability to use the new FireCoder Blu accelerator board for lightning quick conversions.

If you need the ultimate performance in converting AVCHD you can even put multiple FireCoder Blu boards in one computer.
