The T2 iDDR from Grass Valley is the most flexible Digital VCR on the market today. One unit is capable of recording one HD or SD source while playing back 2 others. The T2 is capable of 'time slipping' HD or SD and doing slow motion replays while recording.
T2 is one of the very rare products that combine a really intuitive control interface with powerful features. These are accessible via it's built in 7 inch touch screen. It can also be controlled with a keyboard and mouse using a computer screen.
The 2 HD or SD playback channels can play a sequence of clips with transitions and trimming. Playback channels can also be synchronised for 3D or double width video displays.
The T2's playback channels are fully controllable by the Grass Valley
Indigo A/V mixer.
You can copy Pro Res Quick-Time from
Final Cut Pro, and many other digital video files onto the T2 via network, USB, FireWire or Solid State Drives, and these will be encoded into the T2's high quality internal format. T2 uses Grass Valley's HQ codec capable of exceeding HDCAM quality.
The T2 has HD and SD SDI, Component, DVI, analogue and EBU audio inputs and outputs.
The robust and rugged T2 iDDR has been tested to the same rigorous standards as the Panasonic Toughbook to ensure that it meets users needs for reliability and durability.
