Audio Visual Installation

CASE STUDY Warwick University, Lecture Theatre

Brief

Warwick University is home to one of the UK’s most respected and highly rated Business Schools. In 2006 Quadrant won the contract to design and install all the Audio Visual Facilities for their brand new building located on the outskirts of Coventry.

Solution

Our aim was to create state of the art facilities, based around three Lecture Theatres and Five additional Teaching Rooms.

The Lecture Theatres are fitted with a Teacher Boards system, to provide not only the projection screen, but three height adjustable dry wipe boards.

Quadrant designed the bespoke furniture; with the lectern being electrically height adjustable to provide easy operation for wheelchair users.

The systems feature Projection Design native SXGA projectors, with all sources being scaled up to 1400 x 1050 resolution to provide outstanding high resolution images. Crestron was the chosen control system, with large touch panels fitted in the lecterns.

Finally, we installed the Crestron Roomview management software, which provides on-line status reporting of all systems and equipment within the various rooms.
